We carry British Retail Consortium (BRC) global standard accreditation and higher level *CMi accreditation in warehouse and distribution, and all our suppliers work to BRC standards. |

A year audit by CMi accreditation ensures we comply with the requirements set by the Assured Produce scheme and HACCP. All our growers are audited to SFL specifications (government guideline testing) and we insist that our suppliers undertake pesticide testing. |

Our quality control manager/trainer is certified to the Royal Institute of Public Health & Hygiene (RIPHH) standard in food handling management. |

New employees receive a comprehensive induction, including health and safety training, all aspects of quality assurance and practical training in produce handling. This training continues after induction. |

Our depot at Bradford operates an Environmental Management System (EMS) that is part of a corporate certification to the internationally recognised ISO 14001:2004. The current ISO 14001:2004 scope extends to 42 individual locations, from which, a sample of locations are audited by SGS UK Ltd annually. |
